£20.00 per hour
Temporary Contract – 9th March to 20th March
Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 17:00 | 40 Hours per Week
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Gatekeeper / General Operative to support operations at a busy water treatment facility in Chertsey.
This is a temporary assignment starting Monday 9th March through to Friday 20th March, working full-time weekday hours.
The Role
You will act as the main access control point for the site, ensuring safe and authorised entry and exit of vehicles operating within the works.Key responsibilities include:

Opening and closing site gates for rigid 8-wheeled vehicles carrying clean water sludge

Controlling and monitoring vehicle access to site

Ensuring only authorised and approved vehicles are permitted entry

Preventing unauthorised access to operational areas

Maintaining clear communication with site teams and drivers

Ensuring full compliance with site health and safety regulations

Supporting general operational duties where required
This role requires attention to detail, confidence and the ability to work independently in a safety-critical environment.
Candidate Requirements

Full UK driving licence

Own vehicle required to attend site

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confident and professional when dealing with drivers and site personnel

Reliable, punctual and safety conscious

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
