As a Laser Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Operating Amada flatbed laser machinery to cut and profile sheet metal
Adjusting settings, selecting programs and completing minor machine adjustments
Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy against engineering drawings
Monitoring production flow and maintaining machine efficiency
Completing basic maintenance and keeping work areas organised
As a Laser Operative, your experience will include:
Previous experience operating an Amada laser or similar CNC laser machinery
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Competence with measuring equipment including verniers and callipers
Working within a fabrication or precision engineering environment
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, methodical approach
