Must have’s

AAT qualification or equivalent

Experience working to trial balance level, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank processing and management accounts production

Good working knowledge of Sage
-
Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to learn bespoke systems

Strong people skills with the ability to manage a team and deliver individual projects when required

Ability to prioritise personal and team workloads to meet monthly reporting deadlines
So, what will you be doing?
-
Allocate and oversee tasks within the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely processing
-
Act as escalation point for credit control, flagging debts over 60 days to the Finance Manager
-
Ensure monthly reconciliations are completed within deadlines
-
Manage the asset register, ensuring capitalisation aligns with company policy
-
Oversee stock control to maintain accurate stock levels
-
Support accounting activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness

Provide financial transaction support, query resolution and reporting to wider business teams
-
Prioritise workload to deliver maximum value to customers

Assist with reviewing, improving and implementing financial procedures across the business
