An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Housekeeper to join a large, well-managed private country residence in Oxfordshire
This is a hands-on role within a structured and supportive housekeeping team, ideal for a candidate who takes pride in exceptional standards and enjoys working within a professional, collaborative household environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Head Housekeeper and House Manager, you will help ensure the home is consistently immaculate, well organised, and always guest-ready
This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to be part of a warm yet highly professional household team.
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Weekend working required on a rota basis)
Key Responsibilities

Daily cleaning and servicing of bedrooms, bathrooms and reception rooms

Laundry and wardrobe management

Maintaining consistently high presentation standards throughout the property

Supporting preparations for both small gatherings and larger-scale events

Assisting in the kitchen and preparing simple, well-executed family meals when required

Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised, and well managed

Working collaboratively within the housekeeping team
About You

Experienced within a private household or similarly high-standard environment

Highly detail-oriented with pride in presentation

Confident preparing simple, family-style meals (this is not a chef role)

Team-focused with a flexible, positive attitude

Ideally in possession of a full UK driving licence

Comfortable working around four small to medium-sized dogs

Willing to work weekends as part of a rota
