We’re looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Operations Coordinator to join our team in Felixstowe. This role supports one of our key client accounts within the logistics and supply chain sector, ensuring high‑quality service and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
As a Customer Operations Coordinator, you’ll manage customer requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and act as the central point of communication — with plenty of support and training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison for a nominated customer, ensuring all operational requirements are captured accurately and delivered on time.
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal processes as any service changes occur.
- Attend customer meetings when required, helping to build and strengthen client relationships.
- Respond quickly and professionally to queries from internal teams, customers, and customs authorities.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted within required deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance service levels.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or UK customs is beneficial — but full training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Confident using MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
