Agency Family Court Adviser - Birmingham & Stoke/Staffordshire

We are recruiting two Agency Family Court Advisers (FCA) to support Cafcass across Birmingham and the Stoke/Staffordshire areas. These temporary positions provide essential cover for existing staff, including maternity or long‑term absence, and offer an opportunity to contribute to vital court-facing Social Work practice.
In these roles, you will represent the voices, safety and best interests of children involved in family court proceedings, undertaking assessments, providing clear evidence-based analysis, and making recommendations to the courts. You will work independently while being supported by a national organisation known for high standards, strong values, and a commitment to exceptional outcomes for children.

Essential Requirements
SWE‑registered Social Worker
Social Work qualification
Full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Desirable Requirements
3+ years post‑qualifying experience
Strong court experience, including report writing and presenting evidence
