We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operative to join a well-established company based in Trafford Park within the laminate manufacturing industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience operating specialist machinery and looking for a long-term position with the potential to go permanent.
The Role:
You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery involved in the production and finishing of laminate products. Equipment may include:

Edgebanders
-
Post forming machines
-
Spindle moulders
-
Beam saws
Key Responsibilities:
Operating and setting machinery safely and efficiently
Monitoring production quality and output
Reading and working from technical drawings/specifications
Ensuring materials are cut and finished to high standards
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Reporting any faults or maintenance requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 12 months’ experience operating edgebanders, post forming machinery, spindle moulders, beam saws or similar
Experience within the laminate, woodworking, furniture manufacturing or similar industry preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Monday to Thursday: 07.00 - 16.00
Friday: 07.00 - 14.45
