About the Company:
My client have been established as a housebuilder for over 60 years and currently have regional office bases throughout the UK. They are recognised as the highest quality major national housebuilder, having been awarded an exclusive ‘5 Star Housebuilder Award’ by the Homebuilders Federation. Projects to date range vastly in terms of specification and construction technique dependant on the location of the regional office. Major projects include multi-unit RC frame structures in Central London as well as town and village regeneration and low rise traditional build housing.
About the role:
Working closely with the Construction Director, you will act as a trusted right hand — managing schedules, coordinating project communications, and ensuring the day-to-day operations of a busy construction department stay on track.
You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, from executive diary management to liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Complex diary management and meeting coordination
Preparing reports, presentations, and board documentation
Acting as a key point of contact for internal teams and external contractors
Coordinating project documentation and tracking deadlines
Organising site visits and travel arrangements
Managing confidential information with discretion
Supporting procurement processes and contract administration
Assisting with health & safety documentation and compliance records
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a PA or Executive Assistant (construction or property sector desirable)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels
Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to anticipate needs
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail
