Role Overview
I am looking for a friendly and organised Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic team in Portsmouth. This role is central to the smooth running of the office, providing support across departments and helping colleagues with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate document and data records

Handling incoming phone calls and directing them appropriately

Welcoming and assisting visitors to the office

Raising customer sales orders, managing purchasing, and checking stock levels

Sales order processing and purchasing

Monitoring order progress and keeping customers updated on delivery dates

Following up on outstanding purchase orders, including overdue and upcoming deliveries

Supporting staff with various administrative tasks as needed

Covering for team members during periods of absence
Requirements

Strong IT skills and familiarity with standard office software

Excellent attention to detail

Organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
