BDS are looking for a competent receptionist in the Wythenshawe area to provide an administration, reception and support service to assist in the effective day to day operations of a busy community and facilities centre.

To be the main port of call and front facing personnel for all visitors to the centres.

To take and receive payment from Centre users.

To operate the Centre’s computerised membership system, enter information as required and ensure all records are accurate and up to date.

Deal with enquiries from a wide range of users and act as a focal point for information and communication between users and others service partners.

To deal with all external and internal mail and distribute and circulate as required.

To provide administrative support when required by the Assistant Managers

To support other Centre staff in preparation for events and activities as required working closely with the facilities and operations team to ensure great customer service for all visitors.

To ensure that the daily sheets are up to date and they are aware of events and functions occurring in the centre.
This opportunity is to start asap until at least July with potential extension.
Salary starts at £24,500 per annum and hours are on a rota basis between 8.30am and 9.00pm. Shift patterns are 8.30am – 4pm, 1pm – 8.30am or 1.45pm – 9.15pm Monday to Friday
Essential skills are front facing customer service on a busy reception and cash handling. The centre has a huge diverse number of customers who require support with their bookings and enquiries. There are plenty of bus inks, free parking and an onsite café.
