Warehouse Shift Manager
Our prestigious client on Fradley Park, Lichfield is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead, manage and coordinate daily warehouse operations. Dealing with ecommerce, next day, same day deliveries.

Rotating 6am to 2.30pm and 2pm to 10:30pm Monday to Friday

Key Duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Shift Manager
Maintain all SMART warehouse KPI's
Ensure throughput is managed with business targets
Troubleshoot any tactical challenges and plan as per business strategic direction.
Maintain stock integrity and alignment within the Warehouse Management System, working closely with the Inventory Manager and team.
Focus on reducing damage and errors within company requirement and produce reports to demonstrate under performance and improvements.
Performance management of all Warehouse team members in line with performance policies of The Company
Driving shift performance and the performance of Supervisors, taking action to address any areas of poor performance.
Identifying training needs and opportunities for enhancing staff development, delivering a robust training plan for all staff, in roles within the shift.
Working with the senior site management team to support other areas of the operation, being flexible with resource
Taking responsibility for resolving any inefficiencies within the operation that could lead to SLAs not being achieved.
Producing analytical reports to highlight performance trends.
Design, implement and review operational processes and procedures within the site.
Ensuring that agency workers are consistently managed in line with Company standards and procedures.
Daily/weekly reporting of budget set KPI performance vs targets.
Completing daily analysis of actual capacity vs plan.
Complete comprehensive shift reports, with all requested information, ensuring an informative handover at the end of each shift.
Attending and inputting into daily walk and talk operational meetings.
Be responsible for ensuring all internal and external service levels are maintained including inbound and outbound operations.Experience required for a Warehouse Shift Manager
Previous Warehouse Shift Manager, Team Leader, Supervisory experience preferred
Managed, motivated and developed a team of people
Aware of goods in, goods out
Previous examples of inventory control
A full understanding of the requirements of running a warehouse
Working knowledge of Wadvantageous Warehouse Management Systems and material requirements planning (MRP) would be advantageous
Knowledge of lean techniques maybe advantageous
