Jig Shop Labourer with FLT - HU7
£12.21 per hour | Monday-Thursday | 7:30am-5:45pm
We are recruiting a reliable Jig Shop Labourer / FLT Operative to join a busy and established caravan manufacturing team in the HU7 area. This role is ideal for someone with a valid FLT licence who is confident operating an electric tug and supporting day‑to‑day production movement within the jig shop.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operating an electric tug to move materials, frames, and components around the jig shop
Using an FLT to transport timber, panels, and supplies where required
Supporting joiners and production teams with general labouring tasks
Loading and unloading materials safely
Keeping the jig shop clean, organised, and free from obstructions
Assisting with manual handling duties as needed
Working effectively as part of a busy production team
Requirements
Valid FLT licence - essential
Experience operating an electric tug (or similar site‑movement equipment) - highly desirable
Previous labouring or production experience
Good awareness of site safety and working practices
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Positive attitude and strong team‑working skills
