About the Role
We are currently recruiting an Administrator to join a well-established and friendly professional services office in Lancaster. This is a busy, varied role supporting key stakeholders and the wider team, ideal for someone who enjoys being at the centre of office operations and providing high-quality administrative support.
This is a site-based role, therefore candidates must be commutable to the Lancaster office.
You will work closely with the administration team and Office Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, delivering efficient, confidential and proactive support across multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support across the office

Prepare letters, reports, presentations, internal correspondence, and file notes

Use internal systems (including CCH) to support efficient office administration

Assist with the preparation of finalised client accounts

Provide reception cover when required

Carry out general office administration, including scanning and mail handling

Maintain confidentiality and represent the business professionally at all times

Support ad-hoc tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administration or office support role (or similar transferable experience)

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook essential)

Confident using IT systems with the ability to learn new software

Excellent organisation and time-management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach
