Our client, a well-established organisation within the construction sector, is looking to appoint a Planned Maintenance Scheduler to join their busy service operations team.
This is a key coordination role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organising schedules, communicating with customers and engineers, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and on time.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating planned maintenance activities to ensure engineers are effectively scheduled, customers are kept informed, and service records are accurately maintained. This position plays a vital part in maximising engineer productivity and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Service Scheduling & Coordination

Manage and update customer machine service schedules on a daily basis

Coordinate daily work plans between customers/sites and Planned Maintenance Engineers

Proactively plan workloads to maximise engineer utilisation
Customer Communication
Job Monitoring & Administration
-
Monitor open maintenance jobs and ensure timely closure

Work closely with regional service teams to coordinate activities

Check engineers’ job cards against machine details and usage hours for accuracy

Escalate ageing work-in-progress items where required
Systems & Record Management

Maintain and update the Product Support/Service database, including service agreements

Input engineers’ time and job reports into the ERP system

Raise annual inspection certificates for customer machines
About You
You will be highly organised, proactive, and confident communicating with both customers and engineers. You’ll be comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and maintaining accurate records in a busy service environment.
