Job Description
Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join a modern day surgery service delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. The role spans pre-operative assessment, intra-operative scrub duties, and post-operative recovery, supporting safe and efficient day-case surgical pathways within a multidisciplinary team.
Salary: Up to £40,140 per annum
Position: Perioperative / Day Surgery Nurse
Hours: Full-time – 2 Year FTC
Setting: Acute Hospital / Day Surgery Unit
Location: Gibraltar
Your key responsibilities will be;

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments

Deliver safe scrub practice using strict aseptic technique

Support surgeons during operative procedures

Monitor patients during post-anaesthetic recovery

Administer prescribed medications safely

Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Uphold infection prevention and patient safety standards
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

BSc in Adult Nursing
-
Relevant professional registration
-
Minimum two years perioperative experience
-
Proven scrub and circulating skills
-
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
