Driver and Installation Operative
Location: South East England and South Wales
Salary: £30,480 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm, with potential for overtime depending on workload and traffic conditions

Our client, a leading provider of housing solutions, is seeking a reliable and skilled Driver and Installation Operative to join their team.
Purpose of the Role
This role involves the delivery and installation of white goods, furnishings, and inventory to residential properties. You will be based at the Swindon Logistics site, with regular travel required across South East England and South Wales.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will receive a daily job sheet and be responsible for completing all assigned tasks efficiently and to a high standard. The role includes regular interaction with Housing Officers and occasional contact with Service Users, making a professional and respectful approach essential at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver, assemble, and install goods in accordance with company procedures.

Ensure properties are left safe, clean, and tidy following installation.

Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Team Leader promptly.

Liaise effectively with Housing Officers to support timely deliveries and installations.

Work collaboratively with the Team Leader and wider team, attending meetings as required.

Maintain clear and professional communication via email, phone, and messaging systems.

Complete job records accurately and in line with company policies.
Required Skills and Experience

Full, valid UK driving licence.

Ability to drive long distances safely and plan efficient routes.

Experience installing and assembling white goods, furnishings, or similar items.

Competent use of basic hand tools and installation equipment.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when required.
