The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Assistant role will be:
Process supplier invoices manually, ensuring accuracy and correct coding
Input invoice data onto the finance system in a timely manner
Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes where applicable
Check and verify supporting documentation before processing
Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments
Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
Assist with preparing payment runs
Maintain organised and accurate financial records
Provide general administrative support to the finance teamProfile
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance-related role.
