SSA are currently working with a leading London building services contractor specialising in Design and Installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems for large-scale commercial projects. Due to expansion in the London team, we’re actively looking for a motivated assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects

Administer contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Monitor project progress and provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders

Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as an assistant Quantity Surveyor in construction or consultancy

Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts (JCT, NEC)

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail

Effective communication skills to engage with clients, contractors, and colleagues
