Assistant Site Manager – Façade Recladding Project

Albion Recruitment is currently working with a specialist façade principal contractor who is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a £5m recladding scheme in Norwich.
The business is a well-established contractor specialising in cladding remediation and façade projects across residential and public-sector buildings, delivering technically complex schemes with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
The Role
You will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of façade installation and remediation works

Supervising subcontractors and site operatives

Supporting programme delivery and progress tracking

Monitoring quality and compliance with specifications

Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site

Assisting with site documentation, permits, and reports

Coordinating with the main contractor, consultants, and residents where required
Candidate Requirements
-
Previous experience in a Site Engineer, Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager role

Experience on façade, cladding, or external envelope projects preferred

Strong organisational and communication skills

SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (or working towards)

Eagerness to develop into a full Site Manager role
