An opportunity has arisen to join a growing business based west of Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. Within this role, you will report into the Finance Manager. The role has become available due to a departure in the team. This position will offer hybrid working, with up to 2 days a week working from home available after an initial training period.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:
Processing supplier invoices
Reconciling supplier statements and supporting payment runs
Posting daily bank receipts and assisting with credit control
Managing Amazon/e?commerce transactions and liaising with internal teams
Supporting with bank reconciliations
As the successful applicant, you will bring experience working within a similar Accounts Assistant role, with AAT qualification or equivalent being considered advantageous. You will also have strong systems skills, and the ability to manage a busy workload. You’ll be a proactive team player who thrives in a changing environment and builds positive working relationships.
