Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Timber Yard Operative with FLT to join a busy timber yard. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to load and unload timber safely

Picking, packing, and preparing timber products for dispatch

General yard duties, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Manual handling of timber products

Assisting with stock control and goods-in/goods-out

Working closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements:

Valid FLT licence (counterbalance essential; other licences beneficial)

Previous experience working in a timber yard is essential

Comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work

Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
