Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am - 3:30pm & Fridays, 7:30am - 3:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.29 per hour
Job Type: Full Time - Temp to Perm positionOur client is excited to announce a vacancy for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring that the public spaces are well-maintained, safe, and presented to a high standard for the community to enjoy.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in carrying out essential ground's maintenance work across our client's sites.
General Duties:
Carry out grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming to maintain parks, open spaces, and recreational areas.
Ensure general site tidiness to keep public spaces clean and welcoming.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including planting, weeding, and seasonal upkeep. Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in safe working order.
Collaborate with other teams on maintenance projects and general site upkeep.Requirements:
Proven experience in grounds maintenance or similar position.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
A full driving license is essential.
