IFG are growing… An exciting opportunity has arisen for a?Finance Assistant?to join our fantastic Finance team at our Head Office in Woking. This role will include a mixture of office based and homeworking- whilst training you will be required to work 5 days in the office then will move to 3 days office and 2 days home based). ?The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities…
The primary responsibility of this role is to produce the monthly IFG Client profit and loss statements and client Invoicing. In addition, this role will support the department Head in the preparation of client budgets and forecast. We require someone who has good organisational skills, can self-prioritise, communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance staff and a high attention to detail.
Preparation of monthly School Profit and Loss accounts and invoices for sign off
Work in collaboration with the Operational Managers and Finance Business Partner to ensure information is accurate and relevant.
Work in collaboration with the Management Accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly revenue
Support the Finance team with the set-up of new school reporting
Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition
Ensure completeness and integrity of the customer accounts
Build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally
Manage customer queries
Any Ad Hoc duties as required
What we are looking for....
You will have at least 12 months experience as a?Finance Assistant managing account reconciliations.
AAT graduate preferred but not essential
???????Have an analytical eye for financial detail
A background in working with cashless providers is essential, experience of working within a school environment would be advantageous.
IT skills: competent user of the full “Microsoft office” suite (word, excel, PowerPoint, and outlook). Competent with VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot tables.
The ability to work well under pressure, and are comfortable in a very flexible, fast paced working environment.
Have a proactive approach and the ability to work under own initiative.
Reach targets and adhere to month end deadlines.
Be positive in your outlook with a great can-do attitude, willing to gain new skills.
