Part 1 Architectural Assistant / CAD Technician
Location: Office-based (within 30 minutes commute)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract (strong potential to go permanent)
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum
We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded architectural practice who, following a period of steady growth, are now looking to strengthen their technical team with the addition of a Part 1 Architectural Assistant / CAD Technician.
This role has been created to support the CAD team on residential planning applications and drawing production. Initially offered as a 6-month contract, there is a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves within a supportive, long-standing practice.
The Role

Assisting the CAD team with drawing production

Working on residential planning applications

Producing drawings primarily using AutoCAD

Supporting the wider team as required, including assisting the graphics team during busy periods

Working under the supervision of an experienced Team Leader

Fully office-based role
About You

Part 1 Architectural Assistant, Part 2 student, or CAD Technician

Strong AutoCAD experience is essential

Experience with SketchUp is advantageous

Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
