Temporary Customer Service Assistant – Bristol (BS2) – £12.60 per hour
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly Customer Service Assistant/Receptionist to join a vibrant student accommodation community in the heart of Bristol city centre. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 3-4 weeks, starting immediately.
As the first point of contact for residents, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and keeping the building running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to enquiries from current and prospective residents across social media, email, phone and face‑to‑face.
Sort and distribute incoming mail and parcels.
Build positive relationships with residents through regular interaction.
Conduct property viewings for potential residents.
Take and process payments; monitor and follow up on rent arrears where required.
Maintain accurate customer records and filing systems.
Work closely with the maintenance and accommodation teams to log and resolve issues promptly.

Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a customer‑facing role.
Background in student accommodation, property, travel or hospitality is a plus.
Warm, approachable and people‑focused.
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
Comfortable working at pace and handling multiple tasks.
