We are seeking a key operative with a valid telehandler ticket to join our team on a commercial construction project in Appleby. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for an experienced and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a telehandler to move materials and equipment safely on-site.
Assisting with general site duties, including lifting, carrying, and manual handling of materials.
Opening and locking up site.
Working closely with the site manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Ordering skips.
Ensuring site safety standards are maintained at all times.
Helping with other tasks as required by the project.
Requirements:
Valid Telehandler Ticket (must be able to operate telehandlers safely and effectively).
CSCS card.
Previous experience in a similar role on commercial construction sites.
Strong awareness of site safety and health regulations.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to long-term employment.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
