Location: City of London (EC2)
Salary: Β£40,000 + discretionary bonus
Working Pattern: Hybrid β 3 days in the office

π‘ The Role
A fantastic opportunity for a UK in-house payroll professional to step into a Payroll & Benefits-focused role within a professional services environment. This position blends hands-on payroll, benefits administration, and reward/HR project exposure, including engagement and recognition initiatives.
π Key Responsibilities

Process monthly UK payroll for 600+ employees via Workday

End-to-end payroll administration (starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, ShPP, pensions & auto-enrolment)

RTI submissions, payroll journals, reconciliations (PAYE & NI)

Month-end and year-end processes including P60s

Manage payroll, pension and benefits providers and invoices

Respond to payroll & benefits queries with a high level of service

Maintain data integrity across payroll and HR systems

Support monthly and annual benefit reconciliations

Update benefits platform content and documentation

Proven experience in a UK payroll & benefits role

Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data

Workday experience is essential

Professional services or partnership environment desirable
