IMH Recruitment are currently looking for an Environmental Service Assistant based in Sheffield.
Purpose of the role:
To respond to environmental problems. Including illegally dumped commercial, household garbage, Filthy and verminous premises, animal carcasses and undertake clearance and cleaning as required.
Responsibility:

To complete house clearances.

Assist other officers in drainage investigations.

To respond to environmental problems, including illegally dumped commercial, household garbage, animal carcasses and undertake clearance as directed.

To undertake collection, loading and disposal of condemned foodstuffs as directed.

To give assistance and advice to staff in the Animal Control Team and other teams in Environmental Protection Service.

To assist in other environmental protection functions as necessary.

To supervise staff and trainees, carry out appraisals and evidence proper delivery of development programmes.

To manage and negotiate contracts relating to Environmental Protection Service.
