I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established business operating within the contractor payroll and workforce solutions sector. The company provides payroll, compliance, and employment support services to contractors and recruitment agencies across the UK.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their Chester-based team and support customers with day-to-day queries in a professional and timely manner.
The Role
This is a customer-focused, office-based position where you’ll act as a key point of contact for contractors and internal teams. You’ll be responsible for responding to queries, providing accurate information, and ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities

Handling inbound customer queries via phone and email

Providing clear and accurate information regarding payroll and services

Managing correspondence and updating internal systems

Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries efficiently

Supporting administrative tasks linked to customer service activity

Maintaining a professional and helpful approach at all times
About You

Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office

Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

A positive, customer-focused attitude
Experience within payroll, financial services, or contractor environments is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
