TeacherActive is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hackney to recruit a committed Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across the school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing primary setting.
The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Support pupils with additional learning needs to access the curriculum
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Is patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
Works well as part of a team
Has a genuine interest in supporting children’s education
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
