The Best Connection Reading are seeking a reliable Class 2 Refuse Driver
Location: Bracknell
Pay: £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday and £24.00 per hour for Weekends!
Hours: 05:45 - 15:45 (1-hour unpaid break)
About the Role:
We're looking for reliable and hardworking Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a well-established waste management company in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who enjoy being part of a team and contributing to the local community through essential refuse collection services.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated routes
Working alongside loaders to carry out collections
Ensuring timely and safe disposal of waste
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Following all health & safety procedures
Providing excellent service to the public and local authorities
Assisting with minor vehicle maintenance if required
Supporting depot operations when neededRequirements:
Valid CPC, Tacho Card, and Full Driving Licence (Category C)
Previous refuse driving experience is preferred but not essential
Strong awareness of health & safety and road regulations
Good timekeeping and reliability
Team player with a positive attitude
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
