Requirment: Assistant Civil Construction Manager
Location: Wales & Southwest
Salary: £75000 - £85000 + Vehicle + Bens
Our client a leading Infrastructure service provider are currently looking for an Assistant Civil Construction Manager to join the energy division
Overview
Coordinating day-to-day site activities and supporting mobilisation
Assisting with design reviews, build planning, and programme updates
Liaising with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to resolve issues
Supporting Temporary Works planning and constructability reviews
Preparing handover documents, drawings, and health & safety files
Attending client and contractor meetings, representing the company professionally
Using client systems to track project changes, risks, and communications
Helping forecast and plan resources to meet key project milestones

What you’ll bring
At least 5 years’ experience in construction (HV transmission is a must)
A qualification in Construction, Project Management, or similar CSCS card (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Preferred but not essential: A civil engineering qualification A project management cert Experience with National Grid procedures
Solid knowledge of Temporary Works
Strong communication and people skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and project databases
