A well-established interior fit-out and shopfitting contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Project Administrator to support live projects from their Bradford head office.
This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in construction, fit-out, shopfitting, or commercial refurbishment, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and is looking to develop their career within a growing contractor.
The Role
As Project Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting Project Managers across multiple interior fit-out projects. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating information, and acting as a central point of contact between internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
This is a busy, hands-on role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and confidence working to tight deadlines. There is genuine opportunity for progression into more senior project or operational roles for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management: Developing, maintaining, and updating project plans, reports, records, drawing registers, and project documentation
Meeting Coordination: Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and producing clear, accurate meeting minutes
Scheduling & Tracking: Establishing timetables, tracking milestones, and assisting with project scheduling and progress tracking
Administrative Support: Assisting with project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling all project-related documentation
Communication Hub: Facilitating communication between Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and external partners
Issuing and tracking drawings, specifications, and revisions
Chasing outstanding information to ensure projects remain on programme
Required Skills and Qualifications
Organisation: Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Software Proficiency: Experience using spreadsheets and document management systems
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable Experience
Background in construction, interior fit-out, shopfitting, or commercial refurbishment
Experience supporting Project Managers or site teams
Exposure to construction documentation such as drawings, RAMS, programmes, and handover packs
Familiarity with document management platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Asite, Procore, Aconex)
