Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Swinton/Clifton based client who due to recent business growth have excellent opportunities for experienced Machine Manufacturing Operatives to join their team on Monday-Thursday 6am to 6pm shifts.

Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6pm
Pay rate is £13.00 per hour
Our client is a leading supplier and distributor of Tiles .
Primary Duties:
Communicate with mixer operator regarding production schedule.
· Loading raw materials into the machines
Understanding of press quality control sheet, completion & daily reporting
Pre start up check procedures carried out daily
Start up procedures of the press in automatic and manual.
Checking tile thicknesses and manually recording on daily press sheet
Understanding of press cycle times and how these are adjusted.
Understanding of face/backing consistency.
Understanding of adjusting second layer hopper (rainhopper)
Understanding of faults that may occur during automatic
operations, i.e. light indication on control panel.
Competent to operate all functions of automatic board feed and pallet board supply.
Understanding of shutdown procedure and
cleaning procedures.
· Ensure the smooth flow of production
· Feeding back and liaising with quality testers to reduce stock wastage
The Role :
· Ideally have experience in manufacturing role
· Ideally have machine operation experience or good working knowledge in manufacturing
This position will lead to permanent when you have completed satisfactory probationary period
