Italian Speaking Administrator
£13 - £14 per hour, Burgess Hill, Mon - Fri 9am - 5:15pm, Temporary, weekly pay, pension contributions, holiday pay accrued
The Role
This Italian Speaking Administrator role is a temporary position supporting a busy operations environment within the educational travel sector. You will work closely with the Italian Operations Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day administrative processes. This varied and engaging role plays an important part in supporting operational delivery during a particularly busy period.
This is an Immediate start position.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the Italian Operations team
Preparing and checking booking documentation, itineraries, and supplier records
Translating written material between Italian and English
Supporting verbal translation for calls and internal discussions
Communicating with Italian‑speaking suppliers by email and telephone
Updating internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets
Assisting with invoice administration and checking details
Maintaining accurate documentation storage in line with procedures
Supporting general office tasks and ad‑hoc duties as required
Handling information professionally and confidentially at all times
Requirements
You will ideally have previous administrative experience within an office environment, alongside being fluent in both spoken and written Italian and English. Strong organisational ability, accuracy, and confident communication skills are highly desirable, as is good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. This role could suit someone who is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a busy administrative setting.
