A respected charity in High Wycombe is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to the CEO. This senior, hybrid role offers a salary of £36,000–£37,500 and provides the opportunity to deliver high-level executive and governance support. The postholder will work closely with the CEO and Leadership Group, ensuring the smooth running of the executive office, supporting the Board and committee and playing a key role in enabling the charity to deliver its strategic priorities while maintaining robust governance. This is offered initially on a 24 month contract with every possibility of being made permanent.
Main responsibilities for the Executive Assistant role are:

Provide comprehensive, confidential support to the CEO, anticipating priorities and enabling strategic focus

Deliver high-quality Board and committee governance support, including preparation of papers, accurate minute-taking, and tracking of decisions and actions

Coordinate senior-level meetings, briefings, and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders

Oversee organisation-wide projects and events, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget

Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO, Trustees, Leadership Group, and external partners
Skills required for the Executive Assistant role are:

Proven experience supporting a CEO or senior C-suite executive in a demanding environment

Strong governance experience, including Board/committee support, agenda preparation, paper coordination, and action tracking

Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and project management skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting papers, updates, and correspondence

Sound judgement, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information

Ability to influence and coordinate colleagues without direct line-management authority

Understanding of, or willingness to develop expertise in, charity governance and trustee responsibilities

Calm, credible stakeholder management skills at senior levels
