Overview
A reputable and award-winning legal practice is seeking an experienced Residential Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property department. This role supports the delivery of a consistent, well-organised, and high-quality service to clients and works closely with senior members of the residential team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage post-completion requirements including HMLR registrations and requisitions
- Prepare and submit Stamp Duty returns
- Liaise with estate agents, lenders, and borrowers
- Request redemption figures
- Assist with the preparation of sale contract packs
- Support reporting to clients and issuing contracts for signature
- Submit property searches
- Support the Head of Department in maintaining lender panel status
- Maintain accurate and well-organised case files
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all work
- Communicate professionally with clients and third parties
- Manage workload effectively within a busy residential team
Applicant Requirements
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within a residential property environment
- Experience supporting residential conveyancing matters
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Polished and professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
