What Makes You Right for This Role
You’re not just qualified — you’re the kind of person families feel relieved to see walk through the door.
You must have:
- Minimum 6 months’ UK care experience
- Right to Work in the UK
- An honest, open, and dependable nature
- A kind, caring, and patient approach
- A naturally cheerful, positive attitude
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- A genuine desire to make a difference to every resident
- Commitment to delivering dignified, person-centred care
- Understanding of Health & Safety in care settings
Helpful (but not essential):
- Being a driver (some homes are easier to reach by car)
- Comfortable using electronic devices for care plans
You’ll also need (we can help with this):
- Enhanced Adult & Child DBS
- References and employment history checks in line with safer recruitment guidelines

What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same — because no two residents are the same.
You’ll be supporting people living with a range of age-related, physical, and mental health conditions, including dementia. You’ll work alongside permanent staff to provide safe, respectful, person-centred care.
Your role may include:
- Assisting with personal care
- Helping with dressing
- Supporting nutrition and hydration
- Medication prompting (where required)
- Providing 1:1 care, including dementia support
- Keeping the home clean, safe, and comfortable
- Ensuring every resident feels valued, respected, and heard
