Manufacturing Operative (Electronics) – Temporary

Our client, a well-established and reputable electronics manufacturing business based on the Isle of Wight, is currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives to support their production team on a temporary basis. This role would suit candidates with an interest in electronics manufacturing or previous experience working with components, assembly, or soldering.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of electronic components in line with production specifications
Carrying out soldering tasks (through-hole and/or surface mount, depending on role)
Working with small components and precision tools
Visual inspection and basic quality checks
Following technical instructions, drawings, and work orders
Adhering to health & safety and quality standards at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience within electronics manufacturing, assembly, or soldering is desirable
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to Monday–Friday working hours
IPC certification beneficial but not essential
