Café Chef / Assistant required for a busy Café, located in the Bishops Stortford area.

My client seeks a Café Chef / Assistant, and some details on the role:

You will assist the Kitchen Manager in your role with the assistance of some other kitchen team members in place.

This café is open 7 days a week and operates between the hours of 08.30hr and 16.30hr daily.

The café provides food and beverages, offering breakfast / brunch and other cooked meals throughout the day, using locally sourced suppliers for bakery, food and drink.

You will have a passion and enthusiasm in your work.

You will be hands on and a team player with good kitchen skills and knowledge, to include adhering to: health and safety / cost control / standards set / food hygiene / statutory guidelines.

You will also assist the front of house manager with the opening and closing of the café outside of the kitchen service time.

You will be working 35 to 40 hours a week (candidates looking for a 30-hour week will also be considered).

This role will require that you work weekends as this is a busy time, on a rota.
The salary for this Café Chef / Assistant role is given as £13.00 to £13.50 / hr. For more information please apply.
