We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ FLT driver for our Client based in Trafford Park, M17.

A global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions (batteries) for the transportation and industrial markets.
Role Description:
The role involves operating a Counterbalance truck, along with additional tasks such as manual handling (up to 25kg solo lifting).
You will be working with a wide range of batteries, so heavy lifting is required.
The role is essential for keeping the production line fully supplied, as well as supporting with housekeeping and other ad-hoc tasks.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday, rotating
- 3 weeks of 6am–2pm
- 1 week of 8am–4pm
- Overtime available:
- Saturday: x1.5 pay
- Sunday: double pay (after 40 hours worked per week)
Pay:
- £12.21 per hour
- Pay uplift after 12 weeks
Requirements:
- Preferably experienced in Counterbalance driving with a valid licence (or willing to learn — in-house training available)
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Good manual skills
- Analytical thinking
- Engineering skills/experience preferred
Drug & alcohol test, eye-vision test, and hearing test will be conducted before the start date.
