Warehouse Operative
You will be joining a small, supportive team that prides itself on flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs. While standard warehouse duties form a core part of the role, the ability to adapt and assist with basic technical tasks is highly desirable. A clean driving licence is essential, and a forklift licence would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Checking and booking in stock accurately
Warehouse replenishment
Picking, packing, and booking stock out
Conducting regular stock takes
Supporting Health & Safety compliance and risk assessments where required
Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and filed or archived correctly
Assisting other departments with warehouse-related queries and requests
Liaising with couriers to ensure items are tracked, shipped, or collected promptly when required
Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
Handling manual lifting, including some heavy goods
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
Strong knowledge and understanding of warehouse procedures
Forklift truck experience is advantageous
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional longer hours as required
Willingness to travel when necessary
Basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements
