School Cleaner
Hours: 3:30pm - 7:00pm (hours can be flexible)

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working cleaner to support a school in the Birkenhead area with maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for consistent afternoon or early evening hours.
The role
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas. You will work as part of an on-site premises team to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and shared areas
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies
- Emptying bins and waste disposal
- Following health & safety and cleaning procedures
- Ensuring areas are clean, tidy and secure after each shift
Hours & flexibility
The standard working hours are 3:30pm - 7:00pm, however some flexibility around start and finish times may be available for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Previous cleaning experience helpful but not essential
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of health & safety requirements
