Health Care Assistant – All-Through SEND School
Location: Sutton
£97–£105 per day (depending on experience)
Full-time or Part-time | Term-Time Only
We are currently working with a supportive all-through SEND school in Sutton and are looking for a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a care or SEND setting who is confident supporting children with complex medical and physical needs.
About the Role:

Supporting pupils with complex needs across the school

Assisting with PEG feeding, manual handling, and personal care (including changing)

Working closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals

Supporting pupils’ physical development and daily care routines
-
Ensuring pupils’ health, safety and dignity at all times

Building positive, trusting relationships with students and staff
We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working in a care setting or SEND school

Is confident with PEG feeding, manual handling and personal care (training can be provided)

Holds a DBS on the Update Service (essential)

Has the Right to Work in the UK

Is caring, patient and committed to supporting children with complex needs

Is available for full-time or part-time work
