GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a growing and well-established organisation. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for someone to join their team as a Warehouse Operative on a full time, permanent, contract.
Our client is continuing to expand their operations and is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business offering long-term employment and full training.
The successful Warehouse Operative will receive an annual salary of £24,500 – £28,000, dependant on experience.
The hours for this position are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm
Warehouse Operative main duties:
• Receiving and unloading incoming shipments
• Verifying and inspecting incoming materials for quality and accuracy
• Organising and stocking inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
• Assembling and testing products prior to dispatch
• Preparing shipping labels and relevant documentation
• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and guidelines
Warehouse Operative desired skills and experience:
• Ability to lift heavy objects and carry out physical tasks as required
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
• Willingness to learn, as full training will be provided
• Ability to work effectively within a busy warehouse environment
• Good organisational skills
• Strong teamworking skills
• Excellent communication skills
