A Welsh medium Primary School in Newport is currently seeking experienced and reliable Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant professionals to join their team full-time from after February half-term (23/02/2026). The school is looking for a confident Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant who is fluent in the Welsh language and has experience supporting children in any setting.
🔹 Role Responsibilities
As a Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils in the classroom and small group settings
Assist teachers with lesson delivery and preparation
Provide one-to-one support where needed
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment in Newport
🔹 Requirements
To be considered, you must:
Be fluent in Welsh
Have experience supporting children
Hold a valid enhanced DBS
Be registered with the EWC

£90 per day
