We are recruiting an experienced Sewing Machinist / Industrial Sewing Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production facility in Exhall, Coventry. This is a temp-to-perm role offering long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
The role is suited to candidates with previous industrial sewing, textile production, or factory sewing experience, who can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operating industrial sewing machines in a factory/production environment

Sewing a variety of textiles and materials to specification

Carrying out:

Ensuring quality control and consistent workmanship

Completing basic sewing machine maintenance and checks
-
Working to production targets, KPIs, and deadlines

Following health & safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

Keeping a clean, organised workstation
Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist, Industrial Sewing Operative, Textile Operative, or Production Sewing Machinist

Experience using industrial sewing machines

Knowledge of twin needle, flat bed, overlock, and top stitch machines

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to work in a fast-paced production / manufacturing environment

Reliable, punctual, and flexible

Willingness to learn and undertake training
