Our client are a large Engineering client based in Sheffield. They are part of a big group with over 100 people there – expanding heavily.
What They Do
They are a big Engineering group, who specialise in the manufacture of parts for the Oil and Gas industry. They operate in 9 countries, and have 5 sites in the UK and Scotland, overall, they have over 500 staff members employed.
Working Hours
Days & Nights (Rotating Weekly) (40 hours per week)
WEEK 1: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM until 14:30 PM)
WEEK 2: Monday to Thursday (18:00 PM until 04:00 AM)
Salary
Between £30,160 and £31,320 per year, dependent on experience. (£26k - £27k basic + 32% shift allowance)
Duties and Responsibilities

Operation of metal cutting saws to cut a variety of metal materials.

Ensure all cutting is accurate to maintain quality.

Ensure production targets are met in full.

Perform other tasks across the plant if needed
Requirements

Previous experience within an Engineering environment is required.

Previous experience within metal cutting is required.

Able to meet production deadlines.

Able to commit to the weekly rotating shift pattern
