We are currently seeking a Machine Operative to join a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln.
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
What will I be paid?
Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour.
What hours will I be working?
You will be following 2 days on and then 2 days off shift pattern. Shifts will start at 06:00 and finish at 17:50.
What will I be doing as a Production Operative?
Operating and maintaining equipment, such as CNC machines, lathes, or milling machines
Setting up machinery for production
Monitoring machine performance and adjusting as needed
Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet standards
Collaborating with the machine shop team to meet daily or weekly production targets
What skills and experience do I need?
Valid, RTITB Reach Truck Certificate (Essential)
Competent English and numeracy skills
Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in CNC Machine Operation (preferred)
Manufacturing background (preferred)
Reliable transport to reach site
