Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit multiple Operatives for our client based in Silloth. The business is a UK-based national manufacturer and distributor of fertiliser products, operating across a network of multiple strategically located production sites throughout England, Scotland and Wales. THE ROLE
Packing goods in a fast-paced production environment
Physical activity including lifting up to 20kg
Handling stock
Operating machinery
Sealing the products
Quality checking items ensuring there is no defects
Completing paperwork
Once trained – operate a counterbalance truck
THE PERSON
You will be physically fit, have the ability to lift and handle stock
Experience packing in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous however this isn’t mandatory as training will be provided
Flexible to undertake additional duties to support business demands
Previous experience operating a counterbalance truck would be advantageous however this isn’t mandatory as training will be provided
